Human Rights Activist Dumi Gatsha, Representing The Success Capital Organisation, Has Issued A Call For Urgent Action To Address Gender-Based Violence (GBV) And Improve Accessibility Rights In Botswana

Gatsha is urging the government to issue a Presidential Declaration on GBV, which would facilitate resource allocation, strengthen accountability, and foster greater public engagement in tackling the crisis. Furthermore, they are advocating for the official recognition of sign language, alongside legal provisions ensuring braille accessibility and the development of inclusive infrastructure across all public facilities.
