Democrats Asked for United States of America Human Rights to be Reviewed in El Salvador

U.S. Democrats in a resolution said that the State Department should review human rights issues in El Salvador, especially, imprisonment of men deported from the U.S. The resolution is based on the maximum-security prison where migrants that are deported from the U.S. are held. The following Senators voted in favor of the resolution; Chris Van Hollen, Tim Kaine and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. The essence of the resolution is about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran migrant deported from Maryland but remained in a Salvadoran prison. The said resolution might possibly lead to the termination of security assistance to El Salvador, this depends entirely on the report’s found. Tim Kaine to Nayib Bukele the Salvadoran President



“If you think we’ll forget you violating the human rights of American citizens, you’re wrong. We will remember this forever.”



Tricia McLaughlin, the assistant secretary to the Department of Homeland Security said: “The facts are clear that: Kilmar Abrego Garcia is a violent illegal alien who abuses women and children and as such, he had no business being in their country and they are proud to have deported him.”



In an email sent Simon Sandoval-Moshenberg, Garcia’s lawyer, said “The government needs to bring Garcia back and give him a full and fair trial. By introducing all of their evidences, and Garcia can respond.”
